To rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit during your stay, we suggest you try the following activities. Some activities need a little preparation from our side, so we kindly request you to let us know in advance.

Star Gazing

Enjoy a magical night under the stars with our in-house telescope facility at Arkja Cottages. Far away from city lights, the clear skies offer a perfect opportunity to witness constellations, planets, and the beauty of the Milky Way.

Bask in the Sun

Soak yourself in the morning sunlight and let its warmth refresh your body and mind. Feel the gentle rays, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and start your day full of energy and positivity.

DIY Naturecraft

Enjoy a simple and creative DIY Naturecraft activity during your stay. Collect fallen leaves, twigs, pinecones, and other natural materials from the nature, and use them to make something unique - like a bookmark, photoframe, bird nest, or anything else your imagination creates. It’s a fun, relaxing way to connect with nature and express your creativity. Perfect for all ages and a lovely keepsake to take home from the mountains.

Tree Planting

Plant a tree and experience the joy of giving back to nature. This simple act not only supports the mountain ecosystem but also brings a deep sense of emotional well-being and mindfulness.

Rock & Pot Painting

Enjoy a relaxing Rock and Pot Painting activity during your stay. Sit outdoors, pick your favorite stones or clay pots, and paint them with colors and simple designs. This easy and fun activity helps you slow down, focus on the moment, and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings. It’s perfect for all ages and a lovely way to take home a small memory from the mountains.

Learn Pahadi Recipes

Join our simple and fun Cooking Class, where guests can learn to make easy mountain-style dishes using local ingredients. This activity is suitable for a group. 

Mindful Journaling

We encourage you to do a bit of journaling during your stay - write your thoughts, your plans, or anything the mountains inspire. Mindful Journaling activity helps you slow down, reflect, and connect with yourself. Sit in a calm outdoor spot, follow simple prompts, and let the fresh mountain air inspire your words. It’s a relaxing and healing activity that brings clarity, calmness, and a deeper connection to nature.

Yamuna Ji Aarti

We do Yamuna Ji Aarti every evening, and you are welcome to join in the aarti. It is a calm and peaceful moment where everyone comes together to pray. The soft sound of the bells, the light of the diya, and the fresh mountain breeze make the experience very soothing.

Oudoor Picnic with Family

Enjoy a relaxed outdoor picnic on a beautiful mountain spot. Please inform us in advance, we will pack your breakfast so you can have a wonderful time with your family. Sit in nature, enjoy the fresh air, and have some quality, playful moments together.

Pause With a Book

Take a quiet moment during your stay to open a book and let your mind wander. We have an indoor library where you can find something that suits your interest and spend time with a story you’ll love.
